The Geographical Indication (IG) Lisbon is one of the most important Portuguesewine regions, in terms of vineyard area and wine production. Formed by gentlehills, of low relief, IG Lisboa extends from the capital of Portugal to the north,always along the coast, in a range not exceeding 40 km wide. Multifaceted regionencompasses several denominations of origin, ancient and modern, with distinctcharacteristics. The climate is temperate, of Atlantic influence, with relatively mildsummer, cooler and wetter in the areas closer to the sea, warmer and drier inthe areas protected by Montejunto mountain.

Brand

Ruelas was born to mirror the uniqueness of the Portuguese cobblestonesidewalk. In hornage to the craftsman masters, the art of their work is a stapleimage of Portugal, and their profession is one of the oldest of our nationalhistory. The production of these wines was done carefully, with time anda lot of passion.

Winemaking & Ageing

Fermented in small, stainless steel vats.

Tasting notes

Made from Tinta Roriz and TourigaNacional grape varieties, this wine has apale pink hue, revealing intense notes of citrus fruits and white flowers. In the mouth, it is elegant, with pleasantfreshness and persistence.
